Hello.
I am trying to import data via SQL to a workbook. The preview is looking fine.
Also saving the SQL to the active Worksheet and the clicking "Import preview" is working fine (but olny shows the limited 50 lines of the preview).
But when i click OK in the SQL editor, after 2 or 3 seconds of waiting, origin is closing without any message.
The same is happening when i click "Import data" after saveing the SQL to active Worksheet.

I tested the following versions:
  • Origin 2016 (b9.3.1.273): -> Everithing is working
  • Origin 2020b (9.7.5.184): -> Behavior as described above
  • Origin 2021 (9.8.0.200): -> Behavior as described above

Has anyone an idee, what will fix this problem?

Thanks, Stefan

When i change to import via OLE DB instead of ODBC, everythingsd works fine.

Thanks, Stefan
