Hello,

Basically we added formula in Column E and F to calculate the range value in col(E), then use table() to read its corresponding color code and put it to column F. color code in F matches the corresponding x & y in column A&B.
BTW, not sure why you set column D as categorical, i turn it off so it's treated as number.

Hi Snow,
I have 1500 data points to color in that plot; selecting those regions would be time consuming. Any other suggestion?

That's why i am wondering if u can use Cluster gadget on graph for it.
Once u plot graph, u can use cluster gadget to color a subset of data region.
It seems only some subregion in D is set to 5. So u can use cluster gadget to select the region and color it differently from other parts.

Sorry, let me clarify.
I do not have values in Column D (color map category) corresponding to every row in column A and B.
Is this possible to achieve color mapping this way?

Sorry, maybe i don't fully understand your question.
Do u mean for every 200 points of plot, u want to color it based on info. in column D.
If so, you may have to make a new column with color for each row of value in column A&B.
Maybe you can use Cluster gadget with line plot.
Select the subrange u want to color. Click Create Categories button. set Category=2. Check color it by category.
Repeat it for all subranges u want to color.
