Hi Guys,

I did not find anything related to my question in this Forum so I just ask you.

I want to plot two simple heating diagrams but origin makes several problems because of the "empty cells" in between, i think:
(Time: x-axis, Temperatures y-axis)

E.g. Data are:

Time Temperature 1 Temperature 2
0 25 25
1 200
2 600
3 200
4 25 600
5 25

So Origin should plot both Lines in one diagram...
But it won't do it because of the "blank" cells, I guess. How do I tell Origin, that it should not use these cells?
It will just plot one straight line up and i do not know why...

Can someone give me a hint for this?

Best Regards

Hi James,

thank you so much!
It was indeed the "Connect line across Missing Data" which needed to be activated!

Check the screenshot below. Do you have the same data pattern in the worksheet and does the plot look correct? If you don't see the red line, you need to turn on the line across missing data. Double click on the white area in the graph. In Plot Details dialog, select Page Level in the left panel, select Display tab in the right panel, check the box Connect line across Missing Data.
