hi everyone,

I have been using the movie creator(https://www.originlab.com/fileExchange/details.aspx?fid=370) to generate a video of around 970 graphs.
Each plot should be shown for 0.1 s, resulting in a video with 97 seconds + .1 paddling time.

The problem is that the actual video generated has 118 s. Additionally, the frame rate is set to 120 fps, so the program has way more frames than necessary.

This is very problematic because I am trying to synchronize this video with another one generated with Matlab which has the correct time and fps.

I do not know if this is a bug or if I am doing something wrong.

Also, I am not sure how I should contact the creators of this File exchange program.

Does anyone knows how can to fix this?

Best regards,
Antonio

That's what I did. Now it works perfectly. Thank you

I still couldn't reproduce the issue with your data. If multiple-process is the issue, can you first stop other running applications and then make the video?

Hi James,

I am pretty sure that this is a problem of how heavy is the data and PC processing.
When I changed the compression from none to mp43 for example, the output video got 97 s too. Also, when I got a bad result, I was processing many things simultaneously. By doing it again without simultaneous processing, the result was also 97 s.

In the attachment, you can find part of the data set which I was using to create the video (the whole 970 was too big to send). If you cannot reproduce the error, maybe it is indeed related to my PC.
