Hello,
I am using Originpro 2020.
I am trying to plot multiple maxima per column across multiple columns and multiple spreadsheets.
For this I use the column statistics function to give me the column maxima for a certain range in each spreadsheet.
But since I have to do this across a multitude of spreadsheets, I was wondering if there already is a function in Origin to automize the exact same action done multiple times across several spreadsheets?
If there is no such thing, is it atleast possible to yield multiple local maxima in one spreadsheet without manualy having to select the area for the individual column statistics?

If anybody has any Ideas, I am open to any suggestions.
Thank you for your answers!

Sincerest Regards, and have a nice day.

Hello James,

Thank you very much for you reply. The batch processing is very helpfull. I did not know about that function.
But is there also a function to have Origin find Local maxima and not global maxima? I always seems to give me the global maxima.

Anyway, thank you very much!

Sincerest regards, and have a nice day.

See the figure below as an example. Assume you did column statistics on one worksheet (left) and you have three worksheets to process (middle), you can use the left workbook as an analysis template and run a batch processing. With the left workbook activated, and select menu File->Batch Processing... and make the following settings shown in the figure. It should generate a summary sheet of col max of the three sheets in the middle workbook.
