I want to plot multiple data files in one graph. However, there y and x vectors differ. Therefore I do not have a fixed x-axis like 1 2 3 4 for both and can not stack them in one layer.
I could use multiple layers where I give each data set an individual layer. However, this would take a very long time as I have a lot of datasets.
Maybe somebody (you) had the same problem. I would be delighted to hear your solution.
Clarification: In one spreadsheet, I have the values for T = 20 °C were x (1m , 2m ,3m) and t (1 s, 2s, 3s). In another spreadsheet, I have x (3m , 7m, 8m) and t(2s, 4s , 6s) at T = 30 °C. Now I want to plot x vs. t of the two measurement series. However, I do not want to use a lot of layers as this takes a lot of time (25 measurement series).

Posted - 12/01/2021 : 1:43:17 PM Do you want to plot different sets of XY data from different sheets into same graph (one layer)? Could you check if this helps? https://www.originlab.com/doc/Quick-Help/Plot-MultiCols-from-DIff-WKS
Or could you clarify your question. What do you mean different XY vectors and they don't have fixed x axis.
All plots in same layer will share the same axis range but plots can be from different XY columns.
How are datasets organized in Origin, multiple sheets or same sheet?
Thanks, Snow |
