Posted - 12/02/2021 : 07:25:40 AM Hi guys I have a Problem, that I cant solve.
I'am fitting multiple lines in a scatter diagram. So far so good but there is one fit (the red one), with only two data points that goes wrong no matter what i try. I think it maybe is forced trough (0,0)... Pls can some one help?

Posted - 12/03/2021 : 01:59:07 AM Hi, yes it works, thanks alot! Because I need Pearson R, I used linear Fit and nonlinear Fit. For everybody intrestet nonlinear Fit as Line works with Category > Polynomial and Function > Line Thanks again for the quick Help and the great work! |

Posted - 12/02/2021 : 11:02:44 AM Can you use Nonlinear Curve fitting tool instead? It should give correct result. We will look why it failed on linear fitting tool. See attached project file. https://my.originlab.com/ftp/forum_and_kbase/Images/Project%20-%20Forum_YM.opju

Posted - 12/02/2021 : 09:52:11 AM Hi, thnk's for the answer :)
I checked the fixed Intercept, it is off

Also the fit is for the values from the 5'th to the 6'th row therefor only two of them. |

Posted - 12/02/2021 : 09:31:01 AM U can double check on 2nd tab of the fit dialog if Fixed intercept is checked. Also what data is the red fit curve corresponds to? Is it possible that there are some red data points very low?
Thanks, Snow |
