Hello users of Origin, I'm having a peculiar issue with the fitting function, that appears to fit a set of two peaks perfectly well in one set of data, but not in another (that's almost identical in nature). I am told by Origin, that I have an 'Invalid data range'. Attached are images of both the correctly fitted peaks in one set of data, and what is showing when I attempt to do the exact same thing with similar other data. Help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Can you attach your project file in the jira that we can test. Also what version of Origin do you use?

Hello, thank you for reaching out. The data selection settings appear to be the same as used in the other data set which worked fine, and I see no boundaries set either.
