Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System: Origin 2019 (64-bit) 9.6.0.172 (Research Lab)
When I set the "from" and "to" range for functions shown on plots, it often resets, requiring me to spend quite a bit of time re-setting the from and to range displayed for each curve. How can I prevent this?

Not sure how u opened the Function Plot dialog then.
There is function plot button (dropdown list) on standard toolbar. The button with f and a curve.
Or u can choose File: New: Function Plot: then choose which function type.

Thanks. I don't see theme at the top of the dialog box. |

After set Points, From and To values, etc., click the > button next to Theme on the top of the dialog and choose Save as <default>
It will be used as default setting when you open the dialog.
This applies to many other tools to set default setting when open the dialog.
