You may need to manually split your data into sections. See the figure below. With the graph activated, you can select the Data Highlighter tool on the left hand side toolbar, highlight the upper section of the curve, then click the Create Subset Sheet button to extract the data to a new sheet. Repeat this with the lower section of the curve. Then you should be able to run polynomial fit on each dataset.
