When I am trying to import multiple ASCII files into a different sheet in the same workbook, the name of the workbook automatically changes to one of the file names that I am importing. This renaming can be misleading as the workbook contains data from different files. Is there a way to stop this auto rename of the workbook?

Hi,

Which tool do you use to import? Data: Connect Multiple Files or Data: Import from File: Multiple ASCII? If later you can uncheck “Rename Book with (Partial) File Name” to keep book name.

Thanks,
Amanda
