Posted - 03/15/2022 : 10:04:28 AM Hello everyone!
I work with decades of graphs and for each one I use a Nonlinear Curve Fit. Is there any way to automatically view calculated fitting function on my graph window, without closing the NCF window? Maybe it can be done using LabTalk?
Thanks!

Posted - 03/16/2022 : 05:45:36 AM Hello,
instead of numerous graphs you can use a single one with LabTalk-programmed buttons to scroll between datasets (see UIM documentation). It requires certain data organization but is much more convenient. And yes - LabTalk is the best way to automate your tasks in Origin which is indeed a programming environment (for specific purposes) with overdimensioned interactive capabilities. :)

Posted - 03/15/2022 : 11:29:49 AM Hello, Some questions Are decades of graphs in one graph window or each in a separate graph window? What do you mean view calculated fitting functions? You want to see the fitted curve What do you mean by automatically?
If you have all plots in same graph window and open NLFit dialog, On Settings: Data Selection tab, choose all plots, then in the graph window, an estimated fitted curve will show. If u click Fit till converged button, it will show the fitted curve without need to close NLFit dialog.
Also if the plots are all in same graph, u can use our Speedy Fit app to check fitted plot of each plot. https://www.originlab.com/fileExchange/details.aspx?fid=510
Thanks, Snow
