Greetings!

Othen I need to rotate multiple text labels in a graph by an arbitrary angle, say 45 degrees (counter-)clockwise.

Is there a quick GUI way of doing this?

Thank you.

Oops, i didn't notice that.

Another way is rotate one text. Then right click the text and choose Copy Format: All.
Then select other text objects, right click and choose Paste Format to: Rotation.

Thanks, Snow

Hm...
This trick seems to solve my issue.
However, the interactive tools would be appreciated.

Thank you.

It looks after multiple texts are selected, we can't change to rotate mode.

But I found a trick I didn't even know of.

1. Single click one text TWICE so it enters rotate mode.
2. Now ctrl+select multiple text objects.

--> They are all in rotation mode. Drag the corner to rotate.
Thanks, Snow

Dear Snow,

This works, but rotates a group of selected objects around the group center instead or rotating each object around its own center.

This is cool!
Can you make it smooth on Shift hold and working for multiple selected objects, please?

Hi,

Please try:

1. Set @INCTOR=45 In Windows: Script Window. This set the increment of rotate buttons on mini toolbar.

2. Select multiple text objects by pressing Ctrl + clicking multi objects. Then click the rotate button on mini toolbar to rotate all.

Thanks,

Dear Amanda,

Nice trick!
Thanks.

Please consider implementing Object Rotate command allowing user to rotate selected objects by mouse move and supporting Shift key hold as in Microsoft Office:
