I need to plot some data on the semilog scale. As you can see, the data shows two types of behavior. On the lower half of the x axis, y decreases monotonically, then on the upper half of the x axis, y jumps back up and saturates. I want to show these two behaviors clearly on the same graph or with some additional inset or something.
I would like to get your suggestion on how best to represent this data. I was thinking about changing the aspect ratio of the graph. The x axis should be sparser compared to the y. I just don't know exactly how to do that on Origin (9.1). But then, the x to y ratio will be quite large, and I was wondering how the graph will fit in an academic paper.

To show the details of a plot range, you can consider using the Inset Layer, https://www.originlab.com/doc/Origin-Help/Inset-Plot
To adjust the isometric values, you can try our newest version Origin 2022b, https://www.originlab.com/demodownload.aspx
