Greetings,
I have a contour graph and would like to select a region, either by a square or by free-hand and make an average of the Z values of this region.
I am pretty sure that I should use "analysis -> Statistic -> Descriptive Statistics " However, I dont know how to select the region. "Selection of active Plot is not possible in this case (it's gray). |

With the contour graph activated, go to menu Gadgets->2D Integrate.... You can get the mean value of Z in a square regin. But it doesn't allow freehand selection. Is that OK? Thanks.
