I am plotting two different graphs
1. Y p/x (top)
2. 3 yyys (bottom)

When I merge the 2 graphs in a single graph, the problem comes when I want to make different spacing for the top graph (let's say 50%), but the bottom graph will follow the top graph and becomes thinner too

Is that any solution so that I can make different spacing independently from other graphs? Ex:50% spacing for top graph, 20% spacing for bottom graph

Hi,

Origin 2023 is available!

The issue you reported in this post
"Enable Spacing tab for 1st layer in one linked set" (ORG- 25610) has been implemented in this version.

Please download Origin 2023 from the link below, install and try it.
http://www.originlab.com/demodownload.aspx

If you do not have an active Origin Maintenance, you can still use this trial version for 7 days.

We are looking for your feedback! Any suggestion will be appreciated!

Thanks,
Amanda

OK, I realized that there are multiple-Y layers in your bottom layer. It seems Origin can't handle this case well with the solution I provided.

I think, maybe you can consider to merge these graphs into a layout window as a workaround.

Hi Shirley, I already unchecked the "Plot properties" (Pic 1)

However as you can see, I am still unable to adjust the spacing for my bottom graph (Layer 2-4) as it is grayed (Pic 2)

Is there anything I need to be aware of?

Edit: I am unable to attach the img, here is the link
