Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 2022
Operating System: Win10

Is there a way in the Plane tab of the Plot Details dialog to specify the location of a plane using the value in a cell? The image below shows what I mean. I'd like to use the value in cell M2 of the active workbook where all the plotted values are located. Is there LabTalk code I could put in instead?

Thank you,
Lowell

You can define a range name in a worksheet cell and set it to Project level, and then use this name in Plot Details dialog.

Hi,

Origin 2023 is available!

The issue you reported in this post
" want specify 3D plane position by cell value named range" (ORG- 25793) has been implemented in this version.

Please download Origin 2023 from the link below, install and try it.
http://www.originlab.com/demodownload.aspx

If you do not have an active Origin Maintenance, you can still use this trial version for 7 days.

We are looking for your feedback! Any suggestion will be appreciated!

Thanks,
Amanda

Hi,

Origin cannot support this right now. We will consider improving it in the future version (ORG-25793).

Thanks,
Amanda
