Posted - 10/28/2022 : 05:28:21 AM I've recently started using Origin and I came across the EMG toolbar as an app available for download. However, whenever I try to download the toolbar, it says I have an old version and I have to delete it before installing the new one. But when I go looking for the old one in the "package center" I can't find it. Does anyone else have this issue? |

Posted - 11/07/2022 : 1:32:06 PM Could you choose Help: Open Folder: User Files Folder. Check if there is an EMG Toolbar subfolder.
Delete it. Restart Origin. Then try install the new app?
Thanks, Snow

Posted - 11/07/2022 : 12:07:23 PM I am using the latest student version with pro. I have gone to the package manager and opened the tools tab but I still could not find it. |

Posted - 11/04/2022 : 09:08:58 AM Which version and which language of Origin are you using?
For English Origin, go to Tools: Package Manager. In the dialog that opens, there is a Tools menu as well. Go to Tools: Uninstall a package.
Check if you can see EMG Toolbar there.

Posted - 11/03/2022 : 6:49:32 PM I never downloaded the app which is what bothers me. It just says I have to uninstall the old one and it's not even there |

Posted - 10/28/2022 : 10:06:07 AM How did you install the app? Can you also try to download the app from this page and drag the downloaded .opx file into Origin Workspace to install it? Make sure your Origin version is after 2016. https://www.originlab.com/fileExchange/details.aspx?fid=420
