Hi,
Happy New Year!
Can you explain to me the meaning of the N and K in AIC formula. K is the number of the model parameters, and N is the number of datapoints? Am I right?
Kind regards, Dominik |

Posted - 01/04/2023 : 4:57:27 PM In the Statistics on Columns tool dialog, under the Computation Control tab, you can set different Varaicne Disisor of Moment --- DF, N, WDF, WS, WVR. The capital N in the page means using sample size n as the divisor to calculate the moment.

There are N and n and for skewness both are used in the same formula (gamma 1).

Thank you. In formulas, n occurs in both cases (n and N). I am not pretty sure why. Is N used for normally distributed data?
