Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): OriginPro 2022 (64-bit) SR1
Operating System: windows 11 and mac Ventura

When I copy page (embed OLE) from a graph created in Origin to powerpoint and open the powerpoint file on my mac, the Greek letter part becomes "?" or back to the normal alphabet.
In Origin, Greek characters are written in unicode format.
Is there any solution to display the Greek characters correctly on mac?

Dear Shirley,

Thank you for confirming the reproducibility of the issue.
I are also glad to hear that you will begin to improve this issue in a future update.
For the time being, I would like to work around the issue using the method you described.

Best,
Kohei

Hi west2002,

We can reproduce the problem on Mac, and a jira has been submitted to follow up this issue(ORG-26733).

For a workaround, you can copy and paste the graph window as an image into PPT, or insert the greeks with Insert LaTeX tool instead.

Hi Shirley,

Thanks for your reply.
As you mentioned, I also had no problem when using origin and powerpoint in parallels.
However, when I opened the same powerpoint file on mac's native powerpoint, some of the Greek letters were changed to "?" or "a".

Thanks.

Hi west2002,

I can't reproduce the problem in Origin and PowerPoint which are working under Parallels on Mac.
Could you please tell us more about the working environment of Origin and Powerpoint, and what operations you did?

Thanks,
Shirley

Dear Shirley,

Thanks for your prompt reply.
I saved Origin files in OPJU format not OPJ format.
File format is not the cause of this problem.

Hi west2002,

Another user had similar issue, and had fixed it by re-saving the project as opju file instead of opj file.
Maybe you can have a try.

Thanks,
Shirley
