To make the cell square, you can double-click on the graph to open Plot Details dialog, select Layer1 on the left panel, on the right go to the Size tab, and check the box Link Axis Length to Scale with X:Y Ratio.

Heatmap doesn't support pattern. As a workaround, you can use the Rectangle tool to draw a rectangle with pattern on top.

Please double-click on the tick labels to open the axis properties dialog. Go to the Format subtab, you could choose to wrap the text.

Also writing is a bit long so i would like to have a way to make it more visible? is there a way to format the x column texts?

What if you set the cell value to missing, see below:

Is there a way to cross out one specific cell in the plot since it is not included in the calculation ? just have some type of pattern on it.

Thank you for discussion about it. It would be very helpful for me.

U can put all text u want to show for each tick positions in the color scale.
E.g. put aa, bb, cc, .... in [Book1]Sheet1!F
Then double click the color scale to open Color Scale Control dialog.
Go to Labels tab.
Uncheck Auto under Display and choose Type: Tick Indexed Dataset.
Enter DatasetName as [Book1]Sheet1!F.

It will put aa, bb, cc at those tick locations in color scale.

Thanks, Snow

Thank you so much for your help. This has worked perfectly.
Is there a way to make the color map scale as a text and numeric as well? So instead of Numbers, you'd have text
snowli Posted - 04/14/2023 : 09:07:50 AM
All values are left-aligned which means the column is set as Text, instead of numbers.

Please double click column B header to open column properties db.
Set Format as Numeric or Text & Numeric.

There is an Apply to all columns to the right checkbox in the dialog.

Thanks, Snow
