Hello!
I am making multiple histograms and would like to overlay them as they represent data taken from multiple time windows during measurements. The goal is to see how the distribution changes as time progresses. I am able to make the histograms, however overlaying them seems challenging.
Any tips or advice? Thank you! |

You can select multiple columns, and choose the normal histogram plot. In the generated graph where the bins are side by side, press F12 to open the Layer Contents dialog. On the right-hand side, select all plots and ungroup. Then double-click on the histogram bins to open Plot Details dialog, in the Pattern tab, set Transparency to 50%.

I've checked for the "histogram +rug" option but my version only seems to have the stack (multi panel) histograms option.
Would that eliminate my ability to overlay them, or would there be a way to add multiple layers to a single graph in order to get the same effect? |

You could compare histograms by either overlapping them or stacking them. Here are two graph templates for your reference:
