Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System: OriginPro2018 b9.5.1.195

(Graph attached below)

I am plotting multiple curves with standard deviation error bars, and one set of the error bars is not centered on its curve (dark green), with some not even on the curve at all. The others are fine so I am not sure what happened.

The green curve is a Savitzky-Golay filter smoothed data set, does this have something to do with it? However, the pink curve just below is the same and does not have this issue.

Any information on what could be causing it?

I was actually able to figure out the problem. Because the standard deviation was calculated from values that are scattered around the plot area, it was placing error bars in positions of that data, which are not plotted.

To simply fix this, I set the column to the right of the smoothed data to be the error for that dataset, then set those values equal to the calculated standard deviation as desired. This put them in the right location on the plot.

But thank you for the response!

Could you share the project file? Thank you.
