OriginPro 2022 Service Release 9.9.0.225
Operating System: Windows 10 Enterprise Build 19045

Hello,

Do you know how to perform a weighted linear regression such as 1/x, 1/x^2, 1/y,... on OriginPro 2022? I didn't found the option while creating a new graph.

Thank you!

Gio

Please watch the attached video showing the steps to perform linear fit on the dataset using 1/x value as the weights.

Thanks for the reply. I follow it but it doesn't work (see picture below)

I set a column with values "1/x". Should I do something different?

I also tried the "Speedy Fit" feature but still the weighting option is not available (see below).

Please check this FAQ page on fitting with X errors

Hi James,

Thank you for your answer. Should I set a specific column like the image below to perform the direct weighting?

When I perform the linear regression there is no option to set the X error (and then change it as weighting). See picture below

Best,

Gio

Please refer to this page for different weight options in curve fitting.Thanks.
