Posted - 12/02/2023 : 09:26:35 AM Dear Origin community.
I come across the problem with the plotting of bar chart.
As attached in the image in this forum.
The first column ("Baseline") have the same y-value and I want them to be only one and stay in the middle of the major tick.
Are there any solutions to this problem?
Best regards, Nathaphon

Hi Snow,
I used the second method as it is the best for creating the template for my future plots.

Maybe the easiest way is 1. press Ctrl+double click each bar at Baseline position and in Plot Details dialog that opens, go to left panel and uncheck the checkbox before the point. 2. Then add a rectangle object at the baseline position.
Or u can highlight only rows from 2 on to plot the graph first. Then double click the 1 layer icon on upper left corner. Pick any Y column on left and move to right side. Set the Range to 1:1 so only the 1st point is plotted.
Then u can click the the fat bar and use mini toolbar to adjust the width of the bar. Or double click the plot to open Plot Details dialog. Go to Spacing tab to adjust the gap so it's not very fat, ....
