Can origin run on macbook M2 or later versions?

Official website has a note that it can run on M1 but it does not mention any issue about M2.

I will appreciate any help regarding this issue.

Origin is able to run on M2/M3 chip Mac machine with virtual software like Parallels Desktop.

But please make sure the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable packages (both x86 and x64) are installed.


We do notice that the packages fail to install correctly in some Mac machines when installing Origin 2024.

If you meet it as well, please download and install the latest one (Visual Studio 2015-2022) in following page:
