Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): newest
Operating System: Windows 11

Hi,

I am facing some problems with one of the plots I am working with (file attached). As you can see almost all the bars have error bars. However, two of them show only half the bars. I can't figure out why. Any ideas?

Hello Tomasz,

Thanks for reaching out!

The issue arises from trying to display negative values on a log scale.

As you can see in the image above (which uses a linear scale), the error bars extend below zero. Since the log cannot be calculated for negative numbers, the lower error bar is not displayed in the graph if it implies this operation.

Let me know if you have further questions.

Best,

Nicholas G.
