I have done an experiment in which I measured the polarisation of a ferroelectric as a function of temperature. I have taken several measurement results and am now supposed to plot them graphically, with the error in the y-direction and a root fit.
The plot regarding the error in the y-direction was no problem, but unfortunately I don't know how to fit the root. I have only found linear fits and unfortunately I can't find anything on the internet.
The fit should look like the screenshot below, does anyone know how to do this in Origin?

Have you explored the options available in the Non-Linear Fitting dialog?
After plotting your data in Origin, go to the Analysis menu > Fitting > Nonlinear Curve Fit. In the function selection box, you can select "Power" as the category then take a look at the functions there.
Let me know where this puts you.
Best,
