Hi,
I need to create the following graphic

The exponential curve corresponds to the vapor pressure curve of the working fluid, whose data I can take from the instructions. I should now add my measured values including x-error bars to this curve, but how do I manage to combine two workbooks in one graph?
x is the temperature and y the pressure for both workbooks.
Thank you for your help |

BTW, I found that selecting XError bar column only and dragging into graph will plot x error bars without line
Another userful tip is that if you know the exponential curve parameters, you don't need to have the worksheet to plot the function curve.
E.g. select the xerror column to plot x error bar without lines. Then choose Insert: Function Plot menu to enter the expression.

Posted - 07/17/2025 : 2:36:11 PM When dragging more data into graph, it uses the current graph's plot type. So i guess you plotted line plot first and then dragged the one with error bars in so by default it is plotted as line+error bars.
In Plot Details dialog, select the corresponding plot and set the plot type at the bottom of the dialog to scatter should remove the line.
Or even if it's a line plot, u can either set the plot color to white or set line thickness to 0 to hide it.
Or you can share your opju for me to check.

Posted - 07/17/2025 : 2:05:51 PM Many thanks for your help Snow, the link has definitely helped me I have now been able to insert my data with the error bars into the graphic using the drag and drop function, but unfortunately origin seems to connect the individual values with a line as shown in the image. Is there a way to remove this line?
