Operating System:Windows XP
I have few data sets each has 3 coloums (x, y, yerror)
By using waterfall one can add few plots in the same graph with y offset. But there is a problem. The Yerror doesn't move with y. So if i plot two data sets, using waterfall, I get 4 plots. (x1 , y1) (x1 ,y1error) (x2 ,y2) and (x2, y2error). Seems like i non't feed error bar vales to waterfall. How do i fix this?

Hi cnalaka:
Waterfall plot will not show the error bar, if you want to make an "waterfall effect" with error bar plot, you can make some overlap linked layers. Please referance to "Line & Scatter Plots.OPJ" on origin program folder, \Samples\Graphing\2D Plots\ subfolder.
Take two linked layers as example:
a). Click ¡°New Graph¡± icon on the tool bar to generate an empty graph.
b). Right click the graph and select ¡°New Layer (Axis) --> (Normal): Bottom X + Left Y¡± to generate another layer.
c). Double click the layer icon on the top-left corner of graph to active Plot Setup dialog box. Add data of the two curves into layer1 and layer2 respectively. Select ¡°Line + Symbol¡± as Plot Type and click ok.
d). Double click the empty area of the graph to active Plot Detail dialog box. Select layer 2 and click ¡°Link Axes Scales¡± tab. In ¡°Link to¡± drop-down box, select Layer1, and select ¡°Straight (1 to 1)¡± in X Axis Link and Y Axis Link respectively. Then click Size/Speed tab, select ¡°% of Linked Layer¡± in the ¡°Units¡± drop-down box.
Noticed that layer 2 is linked to layer 1, so if you want to drag or resize all layers simultaneously like waterfall plot, you should active layer1 first.
