Hi there,
I have saved a group of graphs on one multi-layer sheet as a template and use it now for different datasets. To my annoyance the new graphs, after having assigned all data to the respective grapphs, gets all axes rescaled. The tick which was designed to chose whether the program should be allowed to do so or not is marked off at all layers. So what goes wrong here?

Hi Class,

To get the fixed range of axis scales in a template to be called without rescaling, you should set the "Rescale" option to "Manual" (in Scale tab in the Axis dialog box opened by Format:Axes menu) for the axes before you save the template. (Of course, you have to set both X and Y axis in every layer.)

Hi, Claas.

Scaling information is not saved in graph templates. That's why the data got rescaled.

If you are using Origin 7.5, you might try using THEME instead of template, because formats of scales, axes, ticks can be saved in theme.
