Hi,

Origin 7.5 can function as an Automation (COM) Server and thus can be launched by any client application capable of COM programming (such as an application built using VC, VB etc).

You can try this with the Origin 7.5 demo. In the demo (and 7.5 product) installation folder, there is a subfolder called Sanples\Automation Server that contains examples of accessing Origin from other client applications. One can exchange data with Origin as well as send commands to Origin to perform specific tasks.
