Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): pro 7.5 sr5
Operating System: win xp

Usually, I use "copy page" function to copy graph and paste it to another application. The margin control option of page setting is very useful to me. However, sometimes odd objects are placed at "white space" where I cannot select any objects because they are not shown in page.

Of course, I know that I can use "page" option at margin control setting. But, I really want to know how I can rid of white space from my figure. Are there anyone to help me?

Hi Taesoon Kim,

Second thought - you even don't have to create a duplicated graph window. You can just select objects INSIDE page, group them, CTRL-X to cut, Label -ra command, CTRL-V to paste, move, and ungroup -- though you can use the duplicated window as a safe backup.

Dear Taesoon Kim,

To remove unvisible junk object outside of the page, in an easier case, you can just zoom out the graph, and find a junk object, then select it and hit DELETE key.

If the junk objects are hidden deep, or too many, you can do the following way:

1) Duplicate your graph window. (Window:Duplicate menu)

2) Activate the original graph, and in the Script window, enter the following command to remove ALL the objects:
   label -ra<ENTER>

3) In the duplicated graph window, click-and-drag the cursor diagonaly from a corner to other corner INSIDE THE PAGE to select all (but ones inside page) objects. Then, make a group by clicking "Group" tool button in the Object Edit toolbar. Then copy them by CNTL-C .
Note: If your graph contains buttons which trigger a script by an event like button-up, you need to change the graph window to Button Edit Mode (Edit:Button Edit Mode menu) before hand copying.

4) In the original window, paste the object group by CTRL-V. Move the pasted object to the right place. (If you cannot see the objects, zoom out the graph by clicking Zoom Out tool button so that you can see the outside of the page.) Finally, ungroup the objects.

I hope the above method works okay to solve your problem.
