Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System: Windows XP

Hi everyone,

it's a funny thing with eps export in Origin. It creates incredible big files in a world high record of time. Quite impressive! I already asked in this forum before if this is meant to be a serious eps export (at 07/31/2006). And i got a huuuge amount of answers! Again impressive!
Let me just rub a few things in your face:

1) The eps export of Origin is the worst i have ever seen in a commerical program

2) Origin takes MINUTES to export >10,000 data points. How stupid must a programmer be to code such crap?

3) the FREE program gnuplot exports way smaller files in a matter of seconds!

4) in this forum, people don't even seem to know the difference between bitmap and vector graphics.

5) no actual coworker of microlabs even bothers to answer my posting

conclusion: Microlabs just sells expensive crap without any support to its customers.

Hey you guys over at microlabs. You are incapable in your job, your ignorant about your customers and your little puny program is a total joke!

Enjoy your day.

That's strange, it takes Origin about 3 seconds to export my 32k point (x2 dataplots) graphs to approx 590k eps files.

microlabs?

...Did you ever try sending your graph with an explanation to OriginLab's support? http://www.originlab.com/www/company/qform.aspx?s=1&
