Posted - 11/14/2006 : 12:44:09 PM I have a feature (short line) in a diagramm that is visible only if I use the copy page function and insert it in any other programme, e.g MS-word or powerpoint.
This feature enlarges the field for the diagramm and the diagramm itself occurs very tiny and.
And in Origin I have tried a lot of things to identify and to remove this feature (line). But I got no access to this feature.
Has anyone an idea?
To explain the problem more in detail I can send the Origin file and how it looks like copied into word.
Best regards Joerg

It is possible the line was pushed way out of the layer far out into the page causing the problem with tight border.
Sounds like you want to delete it, but not clear if you managed to delete using methods mentioned by Mike or in the article?
One other way to find and delete is to do the following: -> Go to script window and type list -o to list all objects. Lines typically have name such as Line, Line1 and could show up with such a name. -> Then you can issue command such as label -r line1 to remove line1
If you need further help, you can send the OPJ to tech support.

Posted - 11/15/2006 : 05:46:58 AM Hi Easwar,
thanks a lot.
The change in the settings helped from border to page helped. But nevertheless I don't know how this feature even beyond the margin has been arised and of course it would be nice if I can destroy it finally.
Best regards Joerg

Select Edit > Button Edit Mode and you should be able to see and remove the offending line. To restore normal graph behavior deselect Button Edit Mode.
