hi,

I have noticed that standard deviation calculated by Statistics on Columns (right click on column > Statistics on Columns) is not the same as a standard deviation evaluated on graph (Analysis > Fit Linear). Why is that?

thanks
Oliver

Hi Oliver,

Column > Statistics on Cols gives sd from the mean whereas Analysis > Fit Linear gives sd from the fit curve. Those sd values are the same only if A=mean and B=0.
