Dear Sir/Madam,
I have tacho signals(voltage-time) in the ascii format. Is there any method to conver this signal into the frequency(Hz)-time graph on the Origin using its features? If it is available, please give me that infomation. It will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Regards,
Jeongsoo

Seiwon, just a reminder. If you cannot see the project explorer, use the Origin menu: View: Project Explorer to open it. Then you will see a hidden worksheet, data1. Paste your data into the first two columns of data1 and click Compute on the graph. This will perform STFT on your data.

Posted - 11/29/2006 : 8:37:15 PM I think you will need to perform a short-time Fourier transform. Unfortunately, Origin 7.0 does not provide such a tool. If you really want to do that, you will have to write some Origin C programs.
The STFT tool will likely be included in the next version. Please stay in touch with us for future information about it.
