Operating System: WIN2000

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have tacho signals(voltage-time) in the ascii format. Is there any method to conver this signal into the frequency(Hz)-time graph on the Origin using its features?
If it is available, please give me that infomation. It will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Regards,

Jeongsoo

Yeah. You are right, Mike. I saw the OPJ now... Thanks!

Seiwon, just a reminder. If you cannot see the project explorer, use the Origin menu: View: Project Explorer to open it. Then you will see a hidden worksheet, data1. Paste your data into the first two columns of data1 and click Compute on the graph. This will perform STFT on your data.

NAG has STFT... see Samples\Programming\NAG STFT\NAG STFT.opj.

I think you will need to perform a short-time Fourier transform. Unfortunately, Origin 7.0 does not provide such a tool. If you really want to do that, you will have to write some Origin C programs.

The STFT tool will likely be included in the next version. Please stay in touch with us for future information about it.
