Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 6.1
Operating System: WinXP Home Edition

I would like to insert greek symbols into a graphic layer. I tried the funktion \g, but it did not work, there were no greek symbols. So i tried to set the font to "symbol" manually, but this did not work either. I found out that only the fonts from A to L (Lucida Sans) look the way they should, the fonts with names from L to Z look all the same and not like they look in other programs.
Can anybody explain me this phenomenon? How can I solve this problem?
Thanks for your help!

I think the \g() notation looks for the Symbol font by that name. However, if you rename or copy Symbol to Greek you can use \f:Greek(). See the Sample Projects\Graphing\Miscellaneous\Text Formatting project.

That's what I supposed as all fonts with names later in the alphabet did not work. Is there no other possibility to solve this problem? Something like an update? Or is it possible to rename a font, so "symbol" could be named "greek" for example, so it would work because it would be early enough in the alphabet?

Thanks for your help!

Origin 6.1 had a limit to the number of fonts supported. You will need to uninstall some fonts in order to get the symbol font (which is later in the font list) to work.
