my fitter has gone nuts. do i have to reinstall origin or is there a shorter way?
after fitting multiple datasets with a user defined function (that used to work well), in the "fit" window, the buttons "100 LM iterations" and "100 simplex iterations" carry the number "5099380" instead of "100". moreover, the function wont work anymore.
how do i remedy this? |

Posted - 02/16/2007 : 09:39:22 AM hi mike, thank you for the "options->control" thing. it was not only the number of iterations that had changed but actually ALL the fields contained nonsense. resetting them made the fitter work. thanks again. martin |

Number of Iterations to 100. 4. If fitter still doesn't work select Options > Reset Fitter. 5. If fitter still doesn't work then restart Origin.
If that doesn't fix it then you've changed your function somehow. A reinstall should not be necessary.
