How can I substract n+1 from n (n is the Value in the Column X)for all n and put the results into a new column?
Does it work with "Set Column Value" or must I use Origin C (never work with this before). An easy way to make it seems to be when I create a new column and copy the Values n+1 into it and then subtract the one column from the other.....but its dirty!
THX for any help
Thomas

Hi Thomas,

If you want to fill column B with differences of adjacent elements in column A use col(A)[i+1] - col(A)[i] or diff(col(A)) as the Set Column Values formula for col(B).
