I used the Origin-standard Arial font in my graphs, but Journal of Applied Physics does not include that as one of their standard fonts, so I have to embed it in the EPS file, but was unsure of how to do that. I didn't see it in any of the options. Through trial and error I found that it would accept Arial if I used PS Level 3, Adobe Type 42 font, and "Use built-in fonts". It still complained that Arial-Bold was not embedded when I used this option set.
