Kaspersky Internet Security (v6) is reporting a "DOS.Uruguay.poly" virus in _nlpGauss.OCB module located in ...\documents and settings\application data\ogiginlab\origin75e\userfiles\OCTemp\ORIGINC\NLSF

is it really a virus ?

Probably not... Norton AV assures me that my copy of that file is OK. If it makes you feel safer just delete the file. It will be recreated the next time you fit to the Gauss function.
