I get this "error 28037" when i try to fit callibration.
y=P1*(X-P2)^2
P1 200000000000, P2 0.0000002
This has worked the days before but today I only get the error.
I tried this, but doesn't work : quote: I used to fit my data with a self made function. I wrote it as a Y-Script in the NLSF-Fitting-Module. After some days of fitting without any problem I ran into problems because of error 28037 messages. My fitting routine don't fit any of my data, also with old data, which I had fit in the past no fit was possible. I happend to find the solution. I typed in the script window "info string" to see all declared names and I found "y" in the list. Delete the y with "del y" solve my fitting problem. It seems to me that the declared y-function prevent the NLSF to take the right y-function set in the fitting routine.
Is there a problem with windows vista or with the language settings (our notation: 123.456.789,00 instead of 123,456,789.00)?
Thanks in advanced |

The numeric convention used by Origin is determined by the Separators setting on the Numeric Format tab of the Options dialog (Tools> Options).
