Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7
Operating System:Xp

I am trying to use Origin to plot S parameters on a Smith chart. The smith chart functionality has almost no instructions on how to use it. It's ridiculous that something as complex as a smith chart, which has no real X/Y axis, has no instructions.

Anyway, I have data in both Real/Img and Mag/Phase format and it appears that there is no way to plot this data on the Smith chart. I've tried in a million different ways and no matter how I import the data I cannot get it to plot. The Smith chart is essentially useless if it can't be used to plot XYZS parameters.

How do I plot S parameters? Someone please tell me because Origin is a great program but if it can't do this basic task my organization will have to move on to something that will.

That's fine and dandy except that my version of Origin (7.5) does not output the angle in degrees when I use the method described in that post. Even when I go into options and set the preferred angle unit to be degrees instead of radians it still gives it in radians.
