Origin Version (OriginPro 7.5G SR6):
Operating System: Win XP SP2

I have a non-linear curve fit that I would like to add constraints to the parameters. For example I always want one variable to be positive and another to be between 0 and 1. With the deviation of the results, the values lie within that range.

Thanks
Doug

Hi Doug,

Such constraints are available in non-linear curve fit tool.

Make sure your NLSF dialog is not in basic mode, then select Options menu - Constraints.

You can set lower/upper bounds for evry variable.

Moreover, you can also add general linear constraints.
