I'm now evaluating Origin8 to upgrade from 7.5 (on Vista Ult.).

I meet some trouble with putting Figure Caption by non-US text
(eg. Japanese) in a Graph.
Spaceing between the letters are sometimes incorrect (too short,
mainly). No probrem in Origin7.5SR6(us) I'm using in same machine.
I think this comes from using 'proportional font'. Someone teach
me the settings if I can change, thanks.

Thank you for reporting this. Our developers will look into it.

For a temparory solution, you can select the label and choose a suitable font (Japanese/Chinese font) from Format toolbar. For example, for Chinese characters, choose Song ti.

I use the Chinese text, I also have this problem in Origin8.The space between characters is not equal.
In Origin7.5, it is OK!
