Hi,
I do contour plots from matrices that show a more or less confined peak in the middle. I would like to determine the FWHM of this peak and I wonder if there is a solution which is easier than what I do up to now, which is: 1. copy the lines out of the matrix which I want to use for my line-out 2. paste these data into a new matrix 3. transpose this matrix 4. create a worksheet out of the matrix 5. add a column to this worksheet and set values as mean average of the first columns 6. plot the column and determine the FWHM from it
Is there any better and/or more convenient solution? Like getting a lineout directly from the contour plot?
Best regards,
Bernhard

Maybe you can convert the matrix data into XYZ Columns form (Matrix : Convert to Worksheet), and extract worksheet XZ values with the same Y value?
