hello again,
i want to set the symbol size of scatter plots by a dataset. the data for the symbolsize is in the same worksheet as the plot data itself. usually it works, when i select the proper dataset as symbol size. but with some datasets it does not work and i dont know why. this time for some datapoints the symbol size is set correctly and for other datapoints of the same datasets the sybols are not shown even though the values for symbol size should let the appear in e proper size. the worksheet was constructed by a lot of copy and paste and the datapoints which do not appear with the correct symbol size were created in another copy paste action than the ones which are displayed correctly. so i think the problem has something to do with this copying. i tried to set different column properties, like text or numeric, tried different decimal places, hoping this would reset some bad column settings. but right now im running short of new ideas...
i really could need some help.

thanks a lot

gregor
