I am using the pick-peaks tool to find the peak position (x,y). The pick-peaks tool seems to look for the maximum/minimum point in the dataset. But, I want the best position for the peak with interpolation. See the picture, how can I do? |

Posted - 01/31/2008 : 4:26:52 PM Hi,
You can try one of these tools from our file exchange area: http://originlab.com/FileExchange/details.aspx?fid=68 http://originlab.com/FileExchange/details.aspx?fid=82 These tools I think assume the data is normally distributed...
You could otherwise fit your data with a suitable function.
Also you can try the new version 8.0 - demo available on our download area, and such peak integration tool is built into the product.
