Dear Sir.

I have two workbooks containing one X data and one Y data on each.
I have plotted both plots on the same graph.
I need to fit each plot with its own function (a different function), where there are some parameters shared between the functions and some are not. When I try to do it, by fictitiously choosing one X data for both functions, I continuously get one fit instead of two. When I try to use two set of X data I simply cannot specify the data range correctly.
i need some help.
Thanks,
Noaz.

Hi Noaz,

We don't support fitting two data with different functions simulatenously.

We support fitting two data with same function simulatenously with parameter sharing. You can choose Global fit as Multi-Data Fit Mode on Data Selection tab of NLFit dialog.

I am not sure what you mean by "choosing one X data for both functions, I continuously get one fit instead of two". Getting one fit or not depends on different settings. Could you check how many ranges do you have in Input Data node of Data Selection tabe?
What is Multi-Data Fit Mode?

For each range under Input Data node, you can specify X and Y. I am not sure how to reproduce the problem of "cannot specify the data range correctly".

Thanks, Snow Li
